Christy Carter

Christy Carter is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice and leads the middle market for that practice in North America. She has over 17 years of experience in and deep knowledge of private equity markets and transactions across sectors. She has particularly deep knowledge of high growth, middle market, consumer-oriented, and business services transactions throughout the lifecycle, including buy-side diligence, portfolio acceleration, M&A strategy, and exit. Christy is also the coverage officer in the US for many middle market and scale PE funds, and she has extensive experience as a trusted buy-side and M&A strategy advisor to private equity firms and corporations across a wide variety of sectors.

Prior to joining BCG, Christy spent five years as an investor executing transactions and overseeing a portfolio at CCMP Capital, a $3.6 billion private equity fund. Prior to that, she worked at Bain & Company for seven years, where she focused on private equity due diligence as well as corporate growth strategy.
