For starters, we’re thrilled to announce that this year’s Benefit, to be held at The View at The Battery, will be held outdoors, with plenty of space and spectacular views of New York Harbor, The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island! COVID-19 Safety

 

With the safety and comfort of our guests in mind, we’re following both CDC and NYC event guidelines—and then some:

  • All of the employees and staff at The View at The Battery are required to be fully vaccinated and will wear masks at all times.

  • All vendors—the band, photographer, production crew, etc.—are required to be fully vaccinated.

  • All guests must show proof that they are fully vaccinated via a vaccination card, the NYC Covid Safe app or the NYS Excelsior Pass app. For the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the second shot. For the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the single shot. No one will be allowed to enter unless they are fully vaccinated. Recent negative COVID-19 tests will not be accepted as an alternative to vaccination.

  • The 2021 HSVS Annual Benefit will be an open-air event, held outdoors under a tent on a spacious veranda where carefully spaced tables will allow guests to easily and freely move about at a comfortable distance.
