Raymond Audain is a civil rights attorney at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., one of the country’s first and foremost civil rights organizations. Founded in 1940 under the leadership of Thurgood Marshall, LDF was launched at a time when the nation’s aspirations for full equality were stifled. From that era to the present, LDF’s mission has always been transformative: to achieve racial justice and an inclusive society. Raymond earned his B.A. from The University of Michigan and his J.D. from Penn.
