Msgr. Harris is a Licensed Therapist, a Registered Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Social Worker and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. Msgr. Harris led the former St. Vincent’s Services starting in 1968 and continues his leadership on the Board. Since 1971, he has been a Board Member of the New York State Council of Family & Child Caring Agencies, and served on their Executive and Governance Committees. In 1979, Mayor Edward I. Koch appointed Msgr. Harris as an Advisory Committee Member to the Department of Juvenile Justice, New York City, where he served until 2000. Msgr. Harris has an M.S.W. from Fordham University and a M. Phil., Sociology from St. John’s University. He earned an M.A. in Religious Education at St. Vincent College and his B.A. in Philosophy at St. Vincent College.
