Lourdes Michel

Junior Board, Members

Lourdes Michel is a founding member of the HSVS Junior Board. She currently works for Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Manager in the Not-for-Profit and Higher Education Practice – serving various not-for-profit organizations, including foundations, membership organizations, institutions of higher education, and social service and religious organizations. Lourdes is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). Throughout her life, Lourdes has remained heavily involved in various community service activities, most of which are dedicated to helping the personal and professional development of underprivileged youth.  It is this dedication, and desire to make an impact that has led her to HSVS where she intends to continue being an ambassador of change. Lourdes is a CPA and received a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Rider University.
