Jennifer Maas is a founding member of the HSVS Junior Board and a Co-Chair of the Community and Corporate Partnerships Committee. Since 2011, Jennifer has worked as a trial attorney for Harris, King, Fodera & Correia, defending companies and individuals involved in personal injury litigation. Immediately before that, she worked in the Office of the Attorney General in Washington DC in the Family Services Division prosecuting child abuse cases, and for several years worked as an attorney for the Family Court Legal Services Division of the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), where she handled cases involving children, teens, and families affected by domestic violence, child abuse, and neglect. It is through this work that she developed an appreciation for the needs of families and children struggling with family crises and why she chose to serve on HSVS’s Junior Board. Jennifer has a B.A. in sociology-based human relations from Connecticut College and a JD from St. John’s University.
